I would like to express how brilliant Sarah was for really going to great lengths in providing me with the contact lenses I needed at such short notice. Anne, is another member of staff that is always friendly and willing to help. I understand that working in this area of the store must be very hectic at times, but these two ladies have always made my experience at the opticians very pleasant, so thank you and keep up the great work!

I did not know the name of my optometrist as i was in for a contact lens check and didn't require a glasses check until next year. Staff were helpful in the store, however prior to this is did try to make a booking online but it wasn't successfully as the site wasn't letting me select dates/times. Therefore gave up and went in store.

We have been with your optical dispensing manager Mr. Sam Clare for several years. Originally he managed the Halford street branch when it was Dolland And Achison which got took over by Boots optician. Sam is very thorough, caring and helpful in what our requirements are. He has a wonderful memory and remembers our difficulties from past as I particularly have a more involved requirement compared to my wife in choosing the right type of frames and lenses. His suggestions have always been right in the past. Besides he does set the frame perfectly for comfort and vision. A true professional and most friendly person. Besides this Sam's noted as he demonstrates to work with flair with all his staff. The optometrist Sonam Ruparela is Very thorough in her work and also most kind and courteous. Always willing to explain whatever we are not too sure of. Sarah is also a very helpful and most pleasant person amongst staff. Lady who took our intraoccular pressure, field of vision and photographs of the back of eyes was also very professional. Only drawback is the prices of the spectacles compared to other outlets!! Very expensive for the same frame and lenses are lot cheaper elsewhere.

I had an appointment at Halford street to be there for 10.30, contact lens fit. At 10.25 while on route I got a call to say no one available to see me and they had moved my appointment to 11.40 at Gallowtree Gate store. I arrived to find contact lenses not there but arrived within 10 mins. About 4 of the staff from Halford Street were working in the Gallowtree Gate Store. This appointment was for a second pair of contacts to be tried. Unfortunately neither pair of contacts were right for me.
